Here in “The Last Frontier,” we might have a lack of sunny warm beaches, but we have no lack of zeal when it comes to serving God wholeheartedly! James 1:22 tells us, “Do not merely listen to the Word – DO what it says,” and Remnant Fellowship members in this beautiful state are doing just that. Amidst the Creator’s awesome glaciers and breathtaking snow-covered peaks, precious hearts are seeking out God’s will and His commands, and then doing them, laying down any idol that prevents a wholehearted relationship with the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. In Alaska, there is pure joy and sweet fellowship among those who state with all sincerity and humility, “Not my will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42).

Remnant Fellowship grew out of the strong Bible teaching of Gwen Shamblin’s Weigh Down Workshop ministry. God’s Word is our foundation (2 Timothy 3:16-17), Jesus Christ is our Head (Ephesians 5:23), and fulfilling God’s will through our actions is our goal (James 1:22).
